On Friday, July the 13th 2012, at about 6:30 pm, in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, a Young man in his late teens became a victim of a hit and run, on Dean St @  Classon Ave. in Brooklyn.  According to the young man, he was hit by a silver or grey colored older model Mercedes Benz, while he was bicycling on Dean St.  The car did not stop, so a Muslim gentleman who was riding North along Classon Ave, who witnessed the hit and run, then pursued the grey colored Mercedes Benz as it fled east on Dean St.,without stopping. We were just passing by, when I saw the young man struggling to get up off the ground. It was obvious he needed aide and assistance. A large crowd of people just stood at a distance and watched. "Want me to call the ambulance"? screamed One resident of a Classon Ave tenement who was looking out of her window, saw the hit And run. It must have been at least 3 minutes after he was hit that I arrived, and another minute passed before the woman screamed, offering to call 911. Not only was the crowd just looking and not doing anything to help, no one even called 911. The young man certainly had injuries but we were unclear, to what extent they were, although he had injuries to his arm and was unable to stand up. Concerned with the worrying of his family, the young man asked us to call his home and to take his bike.  The young man was taken to interfaith,

Just to show you how concerned, and interested people are/or can be in the well being of others, Peep this: Before the ambulance left the scene, a male who was amongst the onlooker, attempted to take the young man's bicycle- as he perpetrated to a work at the bodega. Unbeknownst to sticky fingers, one of the real employees from the bodega came out of the store. When he (the bodega store employee) overheard the impostor perpetrating the fraud with the bike in hand, and taking the bike into the the store, he asked "why are you lying to cause me a problem". At this point, the real employee took the bicycle from the impostor and went into the store with it for safe keeping, while the male who saw an opportunity to get a new bike, shamelessly walked away. Thanks to the employees at the store, on Classon @Dean, the young man and the bike was safe.  And the young man got the help and attention he needed.   Friday the 13th Hit and run: On Dean St. @Classon between Franklin Ave.

Soda, what! so what da?

Cold Drink, Pop, a coke, or a cola, caffeine candy, fizzle, sugar poison, quarter water, a drink, liquid sugar, sugalixir, and many more, are a few pseudonyms for soda and sugary drinks. 
Recently, New York's Mayor Micheal Bloomberg introduced the idea to limit soft drink servings in food service industries, (restaurants, bars and anyplace food is served) Mayor Bloomberg is basically paving the way for a healthier conscious thinking individual. Maybe the mayor deserves a hand clap and a hi five, it's not often the Mayor does the job of the food and drug administration. Many people think it's dictatorship, what the mayor is doing, but with a little room think, let hypothesize. What if Mayor Bloomberg is setting up a law that prevents soda drinkers from bringing lawsuits against the manufacturers- who knows that the consumption of too much artificially sweetened ingredients in addition to the amount of artificial sugar in sugary drink can cause health problems. It's like cigarettes, now you (the consumer) know the dangers. This reminds me of the time, the time when cereals manufacturers could no longer read sugar on cereal boxes. I think the mayor is satisfying everyone with this one. It could be worse, he could have placed age restictions on sugary drinks, 21 and over. Can you imagine that, getting carded to buy a drink. Let see what others have to say. I asked three rabdom people what they thought of the Mayor's Proposal to limit sugary drinks. HERE IS WHAT THEY HAD TO SAY:

Right is right, and wrong is wrong

Today, just a few minutes to or past 11:30.  Standing on the platform, waiting for the A train at a certain station, on the uws, way upper west side. While waiting, I experienced a very unique and honest situation.
First of all, the station is usually very clean and visually welcoming, compared to some stations I've encountered in my travels.  We don't expect the subway to be spotless (but we do look forward to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, and that's what the MTA worker at this station was doing. She was sweeping the south bound platform, when a woman tossed a metro card onto the platform. The MTA service Porter told the litterer, I know you just saw me sweeping! A the women who just littered dropped her head with embarrassment, waited until the Porter was out of site, then she bent down and picked up the metro card from the platform. That was so considerate, he he.

Genocide: Via Status Quo Bias and Comp stat flaws

If you've been stopped by the police consider your life in jeopardy of being ruined.  Did they write your name in their log note pad, which is used for the NYPD comp stats, more on comp stats later.  Did they run your name, ask you where were you going, maybe they even said "you fit the description of a person of interest" or my favorite, you were just talking to a known drug dealer or, that's a known drug spot.  The irony here is, a known drug spot and drug dealer to a law enforcement officer can only operate, and remain in operation and known as such, with the help of law enforcement itself.  Go figure!

Furthermore, New york don't allow you to defend yourself against criminals nor law breaker, and depending on your location, the police won't arrive on time,  under corrupt circumstances, they usually know the perpetrator and their presence makes no difference either way, or you just don't matter.

All I can say is this! 
Don't be so square, or aloof in some cases that you become bate for criminals and law breakers looking to score favors with corrupt policing and their tactics to meet quotas, all while you're become victim Status quo bias.

Instilling fear, propelling an agenda, or terrorism- You decide the type of genocide it is

When the police can assault a citizen in front 100's of people, and can assure there will not be any witnesses, the police has instilled fear in the community or/ and is propelling an agenda, or plain and simple, up to nothing good.  Maybe it's the community itself!  However it goes, it's terrorism.  Is there enough being done regarding police brutality?  "The police can do what they want"- and if you believe you can't be part of the solution you're part of the problem.  why does City hall protect discourteous unprofessional disrespectful police officers, seek money hungry criminals, flagrancy's, degenerates and make deals with criminals, cons and lawbreakers, to save their own positions?  This does not speak of all police officers, there's plenty of exceptional police like Rambo (pseudonym), starskey and Hutch (pseudonyms), Huntley, perry, potter, speedy, Mollyn, Sewell, Covington, Johnson, Rodriguez-the Jewish convert, and Bennett, to name a few.  You're innocent until proven guilty, but, when police brutality is the case, the officers are championed, and the victim persecuted?  Bad things happen, when good people do nothing.  Or more so, worse things happen when bad people are made to look good or use the law and government authority to shield their wrong doing.  What's going on in your neck of the woods.  All post, comments, and stories are welcomed.
